On Sept 24th she took second place in a horse obstacle competition, and in October she foxhunted with the Green Creek Hounds and was an absolute superstar. 12/08/19 Matilda won her dressage competition at Clemson University's Show. Video below.This lovely, good-sized mare has an exceptional disposition and a ton of athletic ability, including jumping ability. She is particularly excellent on cross country. Would make a super low level eventer. It is hard to find a horse this willing. Very intelligent, Matilda enjoys tackling obstacles and is extremely BRAVE. She has handled fireworks, firecrackers, the crack of a bull whip, shooting off her back, and chainsaws with aplomb. No doubt she would make a top notch police horse! But for the average civilian, she would be the perfect partner for someone looking to fox hunt, trail ride, do parades, or compete in a wide variety of disciplines. Matilda also drives, so that's an already present option. Matilda is an impressive looking horse with a particularly great shoulder and neck, and a wonderfully kind expression. Matilda is solid on her walk, trot, and canter and picks up her leads. She is a sound horse with particularly good feet- she even goes barefoot. Safe, brave and FUN, Matilda is a unique find who will make someone the PERFECT equine partner. No vices. Would make an excellent fox hunter or dressage horse. $25k
